With MNP, you can retain your number even while you switch between operators. The restrictions and the charges are being finalized and announced within two months time. After MNP is introduce all the customer has to do is call up the new operator and the new operator will make all the necessary arrangements with his existing operator. Looks like the mobile operators will have to fight it out to retain a customer.

Tata Housing has launched a low-cost housing project at Boisar, which is about 98 km from South Mumbai. The upcoming complex, spread over 67 acres is about 2.8 km from the Boisar railway station and will have 1000 small flats, the smallest measuring 283 sq feet of a super built up area(SBUA) at Rs 1,380 per sq feet. Boisar, a town with about 1,500 industries and factories has a population of about 10-15 lakh. The company said the model, offering apartments of 283 sq ft, 360 sq ft and 465 sq ft, in the price band of Rs 3.9 lakh-6.7 lakh, would soon be replicated across tier I and II cities. Those interested can purchase the application form costing Rs 200 from select SBI branches across Mumbai. The bookings should be made with an initial booking amount of Rs. 10,000 at the bank branches

If you had invested in real estate stock two months back you would have probably reaped double returns now. For instance, Unitech sold one of its hotel projects while DLF backed out from one of the large housing projects in West Bengal. I fail to understand how a plane with 228 passengers can disappear into thin air without a trace. The air accident investigators have an agonizing task at hand to extract clues that can lead to the whereabouts of the debris of the missing plane. Meanwhile both Brazil and French forces have intensified efforts to locate the debris of the missing plane. Any investigator would first inspect the data recorder or the cockpit recorder of the plane. But both the instruments are lying somewhere deep down the Atlantic Ocean. It has been found that the region where the plane had disappeared is notorious for storms. So what really happened that caused this mishap continues to linger in the minds of millions of people. Earlier the French Transport Minister Dominique Bussereau said that no evidence of an Air France airliner that disappeared over the Atlantic has been found by French forces. The mystery has deepened and the world is eagerly waiting for answers about the missing plane.

An Air France plane, flying from Brazil to Paris with 228 people on board disappeared over the Atlantic Ocean after hitting strong turbulence. The plane which vanished four hours after it left Rio De Janerio airport. The plane was said to have to flown into a stormy weather and experienced strong turbulence. An automated message, which was sent from the plane indicated electrical short circuit. There was reportedly no contact with crew aboard the aircraft about the exact nature of the problem, before the plane simply vanished from radar screens. Efforts are still on to trace the whereabouts of the missing plane. If no survivors are found this incident will be the worst loss of life involving an Air France plane in the firm’s 75-year history. President Nicolas Sarkozy has asked authorities to do everything possible to trace the plane and determine the circumstances of its disappearance. I am deeply saddened to hear this story and all my prayers are with the families affected by this tragic incident. My heartfelt condolences to all those who have lost their loved ones and I pray that such incidents don’t occur again

Air France is back into the limelight for all the wrong reasons. A fortnight after over 50 Indian passengers alleged they were victims of racial profiling while flying Air France, ten Indians, travelling by the same airline, met a similar fate when they were stranded for an entire night in a Paris airport lounge.
The Indians, flying to Mumbai from Washington via Paris, complained that they were confined to the lounge on Monday with just some water and a sandwich after their plane reached Paris late from Washington and they could not board the connecting flight to Mumbai. The passengers of the flight AF025 alleged that while they had to remain at the airport, people with American passports were given transit visas, provided accommodation and taken care of. Complaining of discrimination and insensitivity towards them, a passenger Gwyneth Alphonso said, “We were not put on the immediate connecting flight on the same day. We were told that we have to just adjust within the environment. (Those) who held American passports were given visas and accommodation and were taken care of. But we who had Indian passports were the only ones to be denied any kind of help at that place”.

I am not aware of what in reality happened but if whatever the media has portrayed is true then this stands to be a clear cut case of discrimination and negligence of duty. This incident has thrown Air France in a poor light and many Indian passengers may contemplate to fly this airline. The concerned officials should be sacked with immediate effect. The Indian government must ensure that stern action is initiated against this French Airline for the mistreatment of Indians.
